Being part of the WI is about making new friends and experiencing new things. We know many of our members work or have other commitments and need to be a little more ad hoc with meeting up with others and can’t always commit to a more formally booked trip until last minute. So with that in mind, and to compliment our Tripping With The Belles and West End Belles programmes, we launched our Buddy Belles Book at the monthly meetings, and our Buddy Belles group on Facebook.
Please note: Buddy Belles on Facebook is a closed group for members of TBBWI only.
Both the Buddy Belles Book and the FB group contain the details for the latest ad hoc trips where members are either already going somewhere, or looking for people to go with them.
There’s always lots of variety from local cinema, to museums in London, to much , much more… Click here to join in the Facebook version: The TBBWI Buddy Belles Online
It was also important for us to support the WI campaigns on Link Together (combating loneliness in today’s society) and Make Time For Mental Health (by providing opportunities for people to socialise and find support) and this was a way we felt that we could support our members better. We hope you find lots of fun and exciting activities to explore through the Buddy Belles, and that you make some new friends along the way!
