TBBWI – April 2023 Meeting Minutes – AGM & Pudding Club

The President welcomed 63 members to our AGM including ladies who had joined for the first time this evening.

Following the AGM, notices were given as follows:-

The record of the previous meeting was taken as read and signed.

Notices were given as follows:-
-For this year’s Brentwood Art Trail, members are asked to take a photo of ‘hidden gems’ in and around Brentwood. Initially photos should be uploaded onto Shooting Stars.
– Next month will be our plant sale so members were asked to prepare for this and told that the funds raised will go to the hospice in memory of Jackie Fisher who sadly died recently.
– A reminder was given about lunch club and anyone wanting to go should speak to Beryl or Vena.
– Notice was given that next month’s challenge is to design an unusual Coronation souvenir.

The President spoke of housekeeping.

As it was pudding club this month, members enjoyed sampling the many treats on offer and deciding on their favourite.
The challenge cup this month was to bring a homemade pudding and the winners were as follows:-
-Rasa R – 4 points for her Key Lime Pie, Helen B .– 3 points for her Ginger Semi Fredo with Poached pears and Debbie N, Helen R-P, Margaret W and Andrea B each got 2 points for their delicious entries. All other entrants were awarded a point.

Before the meeting closed, the challenge cup was presented to Rosa G, a worthy winner who gained the most points over the past twelve months.

The President thanked everyone for coming and the meeting closed at 10pm.
