The President formally welcomed Natalie Fernando who gave a little information about her background before explaining how life coaching works. Natalie gave lots of practical examples and shared planning tools with us to help us reach our own personal goals. She stressed the need for us to identify feelings and to separate these from thoughts when attempting goal setting.
The challenge cup this month was to share a favourite inspirational quote and Natalie chose her three favourites. The winners were as follows:-
Jess F. – 4 points, Marion T. – 3 points and Tricia D. – 2 points. All other entrants were awarded a point each.
Members enjoyed some social time over tea, coffee and cake.
We had our regular collection for the foodbank and our book library and, this month, Easter eggs to be donated to Changing Pathways. Craft items were also collected for our stall at Spring Group.
The President thanked everyone for coming and the meeting closed at 10pm.
