TBBWI – November 2023 Meeting

Record of the main meeting held at South Weald Parish Hall at 8pm on 15th November, 2023
The President welcomed 70 members as well as three guests. Housekeeping notices were
given and the minutes of the previous meeting were taken as read. We then heard from The
Daily Bread Café founder, Rev’d Lisa Wymark; Chicken and Frog owner, Natasha Radford;
and Natasha from Changing Pathways about ways in which we can support the community
especially over Christmas. Members were given information about different schemes
operating in the community to support families at Christmas. Donations were collected for
local food banks as well as Christmas gifts for the children at Changing Pathways. It was a
busy and informative evening.
For the challenge cup this month, members were asked to decorate a biscuit with a festive
theme.
The results were as follows: 1 st place – Helen B. – 4 points, 2nd Place – Holly B. – 3 points, 3rd Place– Gemma C. and Angela 2 points
Notices were given as follows:- Reminders were given about next month’s Christmas party and the need to wearsensible footwear for the ceilidh.
The President thanked members for their ongoing
contributions for the food bank and for the generous donation of Christmas gifts for
Changing Pathways.
