Turn the Town Pink – Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Lady McAdden intends to ‘Turn The Town Pink’. As part of this, WI Essex will be holding a Women’s Wellness Event on 14th October at Leigh Community Centre, SS9 1SP.
They will have a number of FREE sessions and information workshops covering topics such as yoga, menopause, breath work, stress & anxiety, building resilience, and nutrition.
We will also have nurses from our charity holding 1 to 1 appointments teaching women how to self-examine and delivering a talk on breast pain. All sessions are free and open to everyone.
This event is for all women with an interest in health and wellness- you do not have to have breast cancer or use Lady McAdden services to attend. Simply drop in for as many sessions as you would like!
